For a multinational specializing in the manufacture of LPG (liquefied petroleum gas) cylinders, research for its subsidiary in Ghana.

Tasks :

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Coordinate with branches and warehouses to ensure smooth operation and alignment with sales objectives.
  • Cultivate new channels for distribution and expand sales radiuses to capture a larger market share.
  • Set clear targets and KPIs for the sales team, providing regular feedback and support to drive performance.
  • Navigate the challenges of working under a Commercial Manager, acting as a liaison to foster better communication and operational efficiency.
  • Understand and adapt to the cultural significance of credit in the Ghanaian market, devising strategies that cater to customer needs and business sustainability.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including, customers, and team members, ensuring a collaborative and culturally aware working environment.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activity to adjust strategies and stay ahead in the market.
  • Streamlining communication and operations to enhance efficiency and meet sales targets.

Requirements :

  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a proven track record of achieving sales growth.
  • Deep understanding of the West African cultural context and how it influences business and consumer behavior.
  • Outstanding communication skills, with proficiency in English.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and in challenging managerial situations.

Qualifications :

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related fields. A Master’s degree is an advantage.

Expérience :

Proven experience in sales management, specifically in the wholesale or retail sectors, with a strong understanding of the credit market
