For a multinational specializing in the manufacture of LPG (liquefied petroleum gas) cylinders, research for its subsidiary in Côte d’Ivoire.

Missions :

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with company objectives, ensuring efficient sourcing and purchasing processes.
  • Lead negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable terms, pricing, and contracts, while maintaining quality and delivery standards.
  • Evaluate supplier performance and conduct regular supplier assessments to identify
  • areas for improvement and mitigate risks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and
  • develop procurement plans that support operational needs.
  • Monitor market trends, supplier capabilities, and industry best practices to identify
  • opportunities for innovation and cost savings.
  • Manage vendor relationships, including resolving disputes, addressing grievances,
  • and fostering long-term partnerships.
  • Oversee the procurement team, providing guidance, coaching, and mentorship to
  • support professional development and growth.

Skills required :

  • Strong negotiation skills and ability to drive cost savings initiatives while maintaining quality and compliance.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and
  • Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field; CSCP or CPSM certification preferred.

Expériences :

5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management roles, with a proven track record of success in strategic sourcing and supplier management.
